Smart Cars has the people, technology and systems to provide professional
assistance with any and all of the services associated within the
ground transportation industry. Whether it is a wheelchair for an
individual needing transport through an airport or support greeting
crew for a group of 500, we can handle it!
Individual Meet and Greet Services
With the recent increase in security measures at all airports,
we are no longer able to offer “Meet and Greet” (M&G)
services at a the gate as the passenger disembarks from their plane.
We can, however, provide this service at the baggage claim area.
Because of the different rules and layouts of airports throughout
the US, the charge for this service runs the gap of $0 to $50. Please
refer to the individual airport information in Airport
Pickup Procedures.
Chicago Airports
Both Midway Airport (MDW) and O’Hare International Airport
(ORD) require that all livery vehicles wait in a staging area. This
makes M&G service very cumbersome because of the long distance
and time associated with a driver handling this activity. Thus in
Chicago, there is a $27 charge + parking + gratuity for a total
of $35 total for M&G service at these airports.

Group M&G services/Corporate Event Planning
Smart Cars has coordinated as many as 25 M&G staff for large
groups in the several hundreds range. With the right planning, coordination
of information and technical/communication support, this complex
and involved process can be handled professionally and without incident.
